Grinding Confirmation
Just spent a little time installing mine. Seems like it's going to be a nice improvement. Those Bavarians make good stuff. I just wanted to mention that you definitely have to grind about 3mm off the bottom of the shock mount to get it to mount up.

Great Front Suspension, Minor Nuisance
Bought this shock as Scooterworks was out of the Bitubo Front Shocks and I needed a new shock to replace the 7 year shock from my Great Britain Edition Stella. Do have to say I enjoy the purchase. No longer am I diving when I break nor do I feel the normal bumps in the road and the tire front tire feels to have a stronger grip on the road. Now I knocked a star off because the shock did not fit in its allotted space by like half a millimeter. I had to spend time grinding down not only the area but the shock as well to get it to squeeze in there. Not a bad experience as I was lucky to have grinding tool to use at the time but it may prove an inconvenience for others. Minus that I enjoy my purchase and look forward to buying the rear shock sometime soon.
