Burning paint, hard to change a flat
I really love the small amount of help this provides my little p125. I don't want to make my scooter much faster yet, I honestly got this more for looks and was happy to have a little bit of extra power. The only thing I hate is that I have to get pretty intense with wiggling the pipe around to change a flat tire and that sucks on the side of the road, but it can be done. Also, all the paint burns off near the head from the heat but it stays cute on the other side for the most part.

A great exhaust -- a tinnier tone that's pretty pleasant, but also, a great jump in power at higher revs. I get about 10 mph more on my top speed, I think. My only complaint is the painting -- there's a big squirt of red paint on the chrome. If my scoot were pretty, I'd be upset about it.

This is a perfomance exhaust, be sure to upjet.
I put this pipe on my Stella and compared to the original exhaust this IS a performance exhaust. Be sure to upjet it'll be running lean if you don't. I'm running a 116 main but I deblued the filter and added two holes to the bottom of the filter right over the jets.

I wanted a pipe for my 62 VBB Cushman so I looked around. I wanted a stock look but something that would give it a little more power! So I changed my carb from a 17/17 to a 20/20 and bought this exhaust! My VBB has 8inch tires and alot of people said this exhaust would touch the ground on hard turns. Well so far no touching the ground!!! Its a great pipe has a great look and sound!! The only CON would be the paint burns off at the head but I can deal with that! Great pipe for a Great price!! Two thumbs up for me!!! Thanks scooter works!

vintage sound and great looks
After a lot of research that actually turned up very little on this particular exhaust, I decided to buy it almost on looks alone.
The exhaust was easy to fit, even for someone of virtually no mechanical skills. It took about 30 minutes.
First obvious change is the appearance, twin chrome pipes sit, just obvious enough, between the rear wheel and spare tyre with the red pipe visible below the footrest. A thing of beauty, particularly on a red Stella.
The next change was the sound: a deeper, throatier noise with even the subtlest turn of the throttle. A truly wonderful sound.
The best thing (on first, tentative ride) is that there certainly is an increase in power. I don't think there is a speed increase, but my speedometer doesn't work so it's hard to tell. The ride is certainly smoother feeling and more responsive.
Checked the spark plug after the ride & everything looks good.
I felt brave taking the stock exhaust off, but I'm very glad I did!
