Vespa LX Scooter
The Vespa LX scooter is a tribute to the original 1946 model. Redesigned for the twenty-first century rider, the classic lines and sleek chassis carry on the Piaggio legacy. The strong influence of previous models combined with a brash new look at several key features results in a scooter that is both cutting edge and familiar.
The Vespa LX scooter has a single cylinder, four stroke engine and an electric / kick start ignition. The low center of gravity and larger front wheel make it stable on the road, and a centralized kickstand does the job in your garage. The LX is set apart from other scooters by its mixed brake system; front discs feature hydraulic linkage and a dual opposed piston hydraulic caliper, while rear drums have mechanical linkage.

Vespa LX accessories include the usual suspects: floor-mats and mud-flaps to protect from mud and grit, a wide assortment of mirrors and mirror stems, chrome accessories including front and rear racks, grab bars, footrests and cowl protectors. Seats come in either black, sand blue or brown and can be customized to specification. The Vespa LX scooter comes in the 50CC model (which is perfect for tooling around town) and the heftier 150CC that can hit highway speeds with ease. The seating is roomy enough for two, and storage space is ample with a large glove-box, a spacious under the seat compartment and optional top case.
