chintzy is an understatement
These products are really very poor quality indeed. I'm glad Scooterworks were honest upfront but I wasn't quite prepared for just how bad they are. I have an old one of these that's been on my front wheel for a couple of years and finally got round to getting one for the rear. The problem is the design has changed slightly in that the hubcap now sits a quarter inch higher off the wheel. There is not enough room on the rear wheel when used in combination with the Sito Sport exhaust. There is simply not enough clearance. I have to use the old, shallower model from the front. The red border you see in the photo, is the amount of "excess" plastic visible when the hubcap is in place. It does not sit flush.
The chrome is very poorly finished and requires about an hour's work with a needle file to make it presentable.
The red plastic insert is obviously designed for some other product and is also poorly cut.
Overall I'm very disappointed, but it will do till I find something better.

***Note from Scooterworks Staff***
These hubcaps are made by the original supplier (Vigano) on the original tooling from the 1960s. Italian accessories have always been known to be on the cheap/flimsy side, with poor chrome quality. These are no exception. At least they're period accurate though! :)
