Mechanic's Tip

Rear brake shoes are often overlooked until they start to squeak. Inspect every 3,000 miles. When installing, apply a small amount of high-temp brake grease on the pivot points (cam and anchor pin) — keep it away from the friction material. Clean the inside of the brake drum with brake cleaner before fitting the new shoes for best performance.
