Mechanic's Note: Never mix brake fluid types. If your reservoir cap says DOT 4, stick with DOT 4. Pro Tip: When installing a new master cylinder, you must "bleed" the air out of the brake line. To make this 10x easier, use a Vacuum Brake Bleeder Tool to pull the fluid down to the caliper and ensure there are no soft, "spongy" spots in your lever feel.
