Mechanic's Note: A slipping clutch is often caused by glazed or burnt corks. Pro Tip: NEVER install these dry! For maximum life and smooth engagement, you MUST soak these cork plates in SAE 30 Non-Detergent Oil for at least 2 to 24 hours before installation. Installation Hack: While you have the clutch apart, check your Clutch Springs for sagging; weak springs will cause new plates to wear out prematurely!
