NCY 2000rpm Compression / Contra Spring - GY6 125-200cc

Take control of your CVT's shift logic with the NCY 2000rpm Compression Spring (SKU 1200-1028). This red contra spring is the stiffest common tuning option for the GY6 engine platform, designed to keep your transmission in a lower gear ratio longer. By increasing the pressure on the driven pulley, it forces the engine deeper into its power band for aggressive off-the-line acceleration and heavy-duty hill-climbing torque. Heat-treated steel. Compatibility

Direct performance upgrade for GY6-based 125cc, 150cc, and 170cc engines:

Tuning tip: A 2000rpm spring will significantly increase your cruising RPMs. If your engine is running too high at top speed, pair with slightly heavier roller weights to balance the shift curve.

Installation tip: Be extremely careful when removing the large clutch nut — the spring is under high tension and can fly off if not secured with a clutch compression tool.
