Drive Belt 738-18-30 for RoughHouse 50 / Black Cat 50
Description
738-18-30 CVT Drive Belt
Is your scooter struggling to reach top speed, feeling “sluggish” off the line, or showing signs of excessive belt dust inside the transmission case? The drive belt is the most critical wear item in your CVT transmission. Over time, it stretches, thins, and hardens, leading to power loss and eventual failure. This premium 738-18-30 drive belt is the industry-standard replacement to restore snappy acceleration and consistent top speed.
Key Features
Premium Japanese Construction: Manufactured by industry leaders like Bando and Mitsuboshi to exacting tolerances for maximum heat resistance and flexibility, preventing premature “glaz ing” or slippage.
Factory-Spec Dimensions: Correct 738mm length, 18mm width, and 30-degree groove angle for perfect contact with your variator and clutch pulleys, ensuring efficient power transfer.
High-Grade Material: Built from reinforced EPDM rubber designed to handle the high heat and continuous tension of a high-revving 2-stroke CVT system.
Direct Fitment: Designed as a direct replacement for your stock belt, requiring no modifications for installation.

Technical Specs
Size: 738mm (L) × 18mm (W)
Angle: 30-degree groove
Material: Reinforced EPDM Rubber
Origin: Japan (OEM-spec)
Part Number: P1122000000
Maintenance Note: Inspect your belt every 2,500 miles. If the belt width has worn down by more than 1mm from its original 18mm specification, it’s time for a replacement—even if it hasn’t snapped yet.
Installation Tip: Before installing the new belt, clean your variator and clutch pulley faces thoroughly with brake cleaner. Any rubber residue or “glaz ing” from the old belt will cause the new one to slip and wear out prematurely.
Pro Tip: Don’t be alarmed if the new belt feels slightly “tight” at first; this is normal. After about 50 miles of riding, it will seat perfectly into the pulley grooves, and your acceleration will smooth out completely.
