NCY 2000rpm Performance Compression Spring

Take control of your CVT’s shift logic with the NCY 2000rpm Compression Spring. This "contra spring" is the most aggressive tuning option for the GY6 engine platform, designed to keep your transmission in a lower gear ratio longer. By increasing the pressure on the driven pulley, this spring forces the engine into its peak power band, providing the explosive off-the-line acceleration and heavy-duty hill-climbing torque that standard springs can't deliver.

Mechanic's Note: This is a racing-grade spring.

Tuning Tip: A 2000rpm spring will significantly increase your cruising RPMs. If you find your engine "screaming" too high at top speed, consider pairing this with slightly heavier NCY Roller Weights to balance the shift curve.

Installation Tip: Be extremely careful when removing the large clutch nut; the spring is under high tension and can fly off if not secured with a Clutch Compression Tool!
