Installation Tip
When installing an aluminum manifold directly against the engine case, ensure all old gasket material is completely scraped clean. Use a drop of blue threadlocker on the mounting bolts and torque them evenly in a cross-pattern to prevent warping the base plate. After initial setup, test for intake vacuum leaks around the joints by spraying a small amount of brake cleaner while idling.
