This Malossi Red Sponge Air Filter is a washable foam replacement element for the stock airbox on horizontal Minarelli 50cc 2-stroke scooters. It swaps out a clogged paper or crumbling foam filter for Malossi's red performance foam, helping your engine breathe freely while keeping dust and grit out, and you can clean and re-oil it instead of buying a new one each service.

Fits the stock airbox on horizontal Minarelli 50cc 2-stroke engines. It does not fit pod-style filters or vertical Minarelli engines. Compare the shape to your existing filter before ordering.
Installation Notes
- Lightly coat the foam with tacky foam filter oil and squeeze out the excess before installing. Never run it dry.
- Make sure the foam sits flat and fully seals around the airbox edges so no unfiltered air gets past.
- A freer-flowing filter can lean out the mixture slightly. If your scooter bogs at full throttle, check your jetting.
This product is intended for off-road use only. This product is not intended for use on public roads or land.
