Over time, stock rollers develop "flat spots" that lead to sluggish performance and decreased fuel efficiency. Replacing them with NCY rollers restores smooth shifting and provides a significant performance boost for the Genuine Buddy series and 150cc GY6 engines.
Performance Tuning Guide
- Lighter Weights (8g - 11g): Increases RPMs for faster take-off, better hill climbing, and "zippy" city riding.
- Heavier Weights (12g - 13g): Lowers cruising RPMs for better fuel economy and potentially higher top speeds on flat roads.
- Maintenance: Rollers should be inspected every 1,000 miles for flat spots to maintain peak performance.
