The Prima 20x12mm roller weight tuning kit gives you 36 color-coded rollers, 3 of each weight from 7g to 18g, to dial in your CVT transmission for your riding style, engine build and rider weight. Designed for Yamaha Zuma 125, Vino 125, and other applications using 20x12mm variator rollers, this kit lets you compare weight combinations without buying a separate set for every test.

Tuning Guide

• Start near your current setup: Compare changes against your existing roller weight, then adjust for acceleration, cruising RPM and your engine's power delivery.
• Mixing weights: In a six-roller variator, alternate 3 rollers of one weight with 3 of another. For example, alternating 10g and 11g rollers gives an effective average of 10.5g.
• Balanced installation: When mixing weights, position each three-roller group evenly at 120-degree intervals, alternating weights in every other pocket. Uneven placement can cause vibration and variator damage.
• Test each change: The best weight depends on your engine setup and riding conditions. Heavier rollers do not automatically produce a higher top speed.
