Check the actual hose and filter connections before installation. The 6.8mm hose-end specification is not equivalent to a 3/8-inch fitting. Do not select a filter solely because an engine code contains QM or FM. Secure both hose connections, follow any flow-direction marking on the replacement filter and check for fuel leaks before riding.
