Many modern 150cc scooters use a DC (Battery-powered) headlight system, but many models use an AC (Stator-powered) system. Installing this LED in an AC-powered system will cause the bulb to flicker or fail instantly. Please confirm your vehicle uses a DC system before purchase.

Pro Tip: To check if you have a DC system, turn your key to the "On" position without starting the engine. If your headlight comes on immediately even if the engine is not running or if it turns on with a few second delay after engine starting (Headlight relay), you probably have a DC system. If the engine must be running for the light to turn on, you have an AC system and cannot use this bulb.
