Mechanic's Installation Tip: Deflate the inner tube completely before unbolting the two rim halves to prevent the stored pressure from warping the split wheel flanges. When putting it back together, add just enough air to round out the tube, sandwich it safely between the rim halves, and torque the case bolts evenly in a cross pattern before inflating to full operating pressure.
