Description
The NCY Performance Compression Spring is a direct-fit clutch spring upgrade for the 2022+ Yamaha Zuma 125, available in three engagement rates — 1000, 1500, and 2000 RPM — to suit a range of riding styles and performance setups. The compression spring controls the RPM at which the centrifugal clutch engages: a softer spring (lower RPM) allows the clutch to bite earlier for smoother, more relaxed takeoffs, while a stiffer spring (higher RPM) delays engagement until the engine is deeper into its powerband, producing a more aggressive, performance-oriented launch. Selecting the right spring rate is one of the most cost-effective CVT tuning adjustments available.
