Maintenance note: Most carburetor issues are caused by old, degraded fuel. Always drain the float bowl and use fresh, non-ethanol fuel if the scooter has been sitting for more than a few weeks.

Installation tip: Before mounting the new carburetor, check your intake manifold and reed block gasket for air leaks (cracks in the rubber). A new carburetor won't fix an existing air leak.
