Description
This Genuine Carburetor Insulator is the original OEM intake insulator and heat shield for the Genuine Buddy 50. It fits between the intake manifold and the engine, sealing the intake and reducing heat transfer to the carburetor. Replace it if the old one is cracked, warped, or leaking air, which can cause a high or unstable idle, lean running, and hard starting.

Installation Notes
Clean both mating surfaces before installing, and make sure the O-ring stays seated in its groove. Tighten the mounting bolts evenly to avoid warping the insulator.
