NCY Blue Performance Drum Brake Shoes - Honda Ruckus, Metro
Description
Superior Stopping Power: NCY Blue Series Performance Brake Shoes
Upgrade your vintage or modern Honda scooter with the NCY Blue Series grooved drum brake shoes. Engineered for riders who demand more than "stock" performance, these shoes feature a high-friction compound and a unique grooved lining designed to channel away dust, water, and road debris for consistent, fade-free braking.
Performance Features
- Debris-Channeling Grooves: Multiple angled grooves actively sweep dirt and dust away from the braking surface, extending the life of both the shoes and the drum.
- High-Friction Compound: Specially formulated "Blue Series" material delivers improved bite and efficiency as heat increases during aggressive riding.
- Precision Construction: High-pressure die-cast aluminum platforms with radius-ground bonded linings ensure a perfect fit with zero "high spots."
- Smooth Engagement: Features lead-in and lead-out chamfers at the ends of the lining to eliminate brake chatter and "grabbing."

Mechanic's Note: When replacing drum shoes, always use a dedicated brake cleaner to remove old dust and glaze from the inside of the wheel drum. For the smoothest operation, apply a tiny amount of high-temp lithium grease to the brake cam and pivot pin—but be extremely careful not to get any on the friction material!
