Description
These NCY 15x12 Performance Roller Weights (SKU 1200-1043) are a set of six rollers for tuning the CVT on 50cc 2-stroke scooters built on the Yamaha Minarelli platform, including the Yamaha Jog, Zuma 50, and BWS 50. The Minarelli engine has also been widely cloned, and those copies, usually stamped 1PE40QMB or 1E40QMB, power many Chinese 50cc 2-stroke scooters that use the same rollers. Available from 3g to 11g, they let you set up your scooter for quicker launches and hill climbing or a higher top speed. Fresh rollers also restore lost performance if your originals have worn flat spots and acceleration has turned sluggish.

Check the engine code stamped on your scooter before ordering. Engines marked with a listed 1PE40QMB or 1E40QMB code may use this part, but pull one of your original rollers and confirm it measures 15mm x 12mm and that your variator takes six. Aftermarket variators such as Malossi or Polini may use a different roller size.
Roller Weight Tuning Guide
Going lighter than your current rollers raises engine RPM for quicker launches and better hill climbing. Going heavier lowers RPM for a higher top speed and more relaxed cruising. Most riders change 0.5g to 1g at a time on a 50cc and test from there.
