Installation Tip
Before mounting, scrape away any torn remnants of the old paper intake gasket and ensure the O-ring interface sits completely flush against the intake manifold — even a minor vacuum leak will cause erratic idling or uncontrolled revving. Always adjust the idle speed screw with the engine fully warmed up to operating temperature for an accurate, steady setup.
