Description

This Universal Parts GY6 Performance Racing CDI removes the factory rev limiter on AC-fired GY6 50cc, 125cc, and 150cc engines. Its remapped ignition advance curve gives you sharper throttle response and better acceleration, with a potential top-speed gain of 5-10 MPH on many stock and modified machines. It plugs into the standard 6-pin (4+2) connectors used on most Chinese GY6 wiring harnesses.

Important: This CDI works with AC-fired ignition systems only. If your scooter has a battery-dependent (DC) ignition, this unit will not work. Verify your system type before ordering.

This product is intended for off-road use only. This product is not intended for use on public roads or land.

Installation Notes

Pro tip: Pair with an NGK Iridium spark plug and a high-output ignition coil to handle the increased spark demand at high RPM.
